Eugene F. McManus, CPA, CFP®– Gene has over twenty-five years of experience helping people simplify their financial lives. Gene is a native of Aiken and has spent most of his career in Augusta building successful accounting, financial planning, investing, and risk management businesses. Gene is a 1985 graduate of Clemson University. He presently serves on the board of University Health Services, Inc. and formerly chaired the Richmond County Hospital Authority. He is a past member of the Finance, Accounting and Legal Studies Board at Clemson University. He currently serves on the Finance Committee and chairs the Investment Committee for The Catholic Diocese of Savannah. Gene is a member of St. Mary On The Hill Catholic Church. He formerly chaired the Finance Committee at Aquinas High School, served on the Finance Committee of St. Mary's Church, served as President of the Uptown Kiwanis Club and served on the Board of Directors for Ceritas Corporation. Gene is married to the former Ann Marie Schweers and is blessed with five children: Maureen, Mac, Caroline, Catherine and Cecilia.

John P. Rhodes, CFA – John has over thirty years of experience in the investment management industry. Most of John’s career was in New York where he attained increased responsibilities in many of the specialty areas of Wall Street’s financial sector by analyzing opportunities and identifying solutions that achieved client goals. He has demonstrated success in both conventional and alternative investment strategies utilizing a collaborative and systemic process. John is a 1984 graduate of Georgia Tech. He became a Chartered Financial Analyst in 1995. John presently serves as Director of Investments for University Health, Inc. and serves on the boards of the Morris Museum of Art. He previously served on the advisory board for Georgia Tech’s College of Management and as chair of First Baptist Church’s investment committee. He and his wife Lisa are gratified that Parker, Sadie and Melissa have developed into responsible adults.

Pat Fair, CFP® - Pat has over sixteen years of experience in the financial services industry and in financial planning. He gained his initial experience in a large wire-house firm and then combined that expertise with a broader range of financial services within a regional bank. Pat serves as our director of research and as portfolio manager working to ensure that our clients’ portfolios are optimally positioned. Pat is a 1988 magna cum laude graduate of Georgia Tech, earned a MBA from Augusta State University in 1997, and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional since 2005. Pat is a member of The Exchange Club of Augusta. He is past trustee for the South Georgia Catholic Foundation and past chair of the St. Mary on the Hill finance committee. Pat, Kelly and their four children are members of St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church.

Tom O’Gorman, Investment Advisor, MBA, joined AP Wealth Management in 2016, bringing with him over 17 years of experience in the investment industry. Prior to working in wealth management, he worked in corporate finance for several large companies, including Coca-Cola Bottling, Altria, and the former American Can Co. Tom was born in White Plains, NY. He earned a BA in Economics from Fairfield University in CT and a MBA in Finance from NYU-Stern. He lived in Arlington Heights, IL, for several years, relocating to Augusta in 1999 with his wife Thalia and their four children. Tom’s disciplined approach to wealth management has enabled his clients to attain their financial goals and preserve their wealth. He believes that proper asset allocation and the ability to maintain a long-term focus have been key to his clients’ success. In addition to individual clients, Tom also serves as a financial advisor for small businesses and their owners. He advises these firms on creating tax-advantaged retirement plans for all employees.

Sharon Head, CPA has over twenty years of experience as an accountant in the financial services industry where she served in traditional Controller and Treasurer roles for international corporations with multi-billion dollar bases. She is a native of Atlanta where her career began and then spent several years in Boston before moving to Augusta. Sharon is a 1979 graduate of Georgia State University. She develops office infrastructures focusing on consistency and integrity of client data as the business expands. Sharon attends Warren Baptist Church and is blessed with two children, Michael and Caroline.

Cindy Wilkinson, Client Development/Marketing, has enjoyed a career spanning 3 decades in both business and the arts. She has served as Director of Development/Business Manager for the Augusta Opera and as Arts-In-Education Director for the Greater Augusta Arts Council. Cindy is a 1983 graduate of Appalachian State University and a 1989 graduate of the University of South Carolina (MBA). Cindy is a member of Mosaic United Methodist Church, where she serves on the Reach and Serve Team (missions/outreach) and is former Director of Worship Arts. Cindy and her husband, Randy, are the grateful parents of Robert, Sam and Beverly.

Millie Robinson, Client Service Assistant, joined our staff in December 2015. She graduated from Augusta State University in 1998 and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. Millie has over 10 years of experience in the finance industry and has also worked for a local nonprofit agency as a special events coordinator. She has a true passion for serving and helping others. Millie was born in Augusta, GA and has made North Augusta, SC her home for the past 18 years. She currently serves as president of the PTO at North Augusta Middle School. Millie counts her greatest blessing as being the mother of two wonderful boys, Marshall and Walker. The family are active members of First Baptist Church, North Augusta.
